Otis Guy bicycles are hand built under the shadow of Mt. Tamalpais by Otis Guy. Based out of Marin County, California - widely regarded as the birthplace of mountain biking - Otis has been racing for more than thirty eight years and building bikes for twenty seven years. As a former Category 1 road racer, a Pro mountain bike racer, and a Mountain Bike Hall of Famer, Otis' experience is far reaching.
Otis' frames are hand built by Otis himself, using the best steel tubing from Columbus, Ritchey, and True Temper. Depending on the use and profile of the rider, Otis mixes the most efficient combination of tubing and brazing. Fully fillet brazed frames are available for an additional cost. Painting is done by D&D Cycles, a very fine painting service. Depending on the amount of orders, frames are completed in six to eight weeks.
